Hi all, hope everyone is well!

I’m currently 29+3 and last night and apparently this evening I’ve been getting deep period pain. It’s not horrendous, but enough that I’ve had to take paracetamol

Due to a mmc in July & falling pregnant 2 weeks later I haven’t had a period since May, so it was strange feeling this now.

Any ideas? Stretching pains? Braxton hicks? I don’t thing I would say it’s a cramp, more a long lasting deep ache. It woke me up at 3am this morning, & almost anticipating the same tonight now it’s starting again.

Watching out Of interest... I had the same two days ago at 27+4, it was disconcerting. My belly got a lot bigger overnight and so I put it down to stretching pains. There was no blood and they haven’t happened since.

Hopefully someone will come along with a good explanation for us OP!

Fingers crossed @LittleTiger007

Same here with no blood, no spotting, she’s still moving though I think she has moved as I’m not feeling as much (anterior placenta) and feeling lower down instead of to the left.

That all sounds good.
My belly got much bigger overnight, but today it’s smaller again. Baby has shifted and I think is back to back. Speaking to MW on Wednesday. Good luck.

Hi @Sansa87 I'm now 37 weeks but I remember having like bad period pains when I was around 28 weeks and it really worried me.
MW wasn't concerned and told me not to stress as it sounded like round ligament pain. It's basically just the stretching of the uterus.
Further along I suffer now mainly with pain in hips especially through the night which is now pelvic pain. It is really just everything stretching out to allow bubs to grow so it's more so a good sign. Try not to worry however if you are too concerned then call MW tomorrow x

Thankyou @MrsW150917 that’s really good to know. Sorry you’re having a bit of a shit time ❤️ Hip pain during the night sounds awful
