I know it depends when you ovulate etc but has anyone conceived just after their period has ended??

Quite low. However sperm can stay there for like 5 to 7 days. So it is possible but low.

I conceived on CD 9 so for me it would be pretty high. All depends on your cycles

It is very low. Usually ovaulation time is about 2 weeks after your period.. as when you are on your period, it sheds your uterine wall which is what the egg is supposed to attach to once impregnated by the sperm. Right after your period that uterine wall is basically gone.. and there is nothing to attach to.

Yes!!! Literally the day after! My partner got really sick and we couldn't do the baby dance afterwards for a few weeks. I could have only got pregnant on that day. Its very possible!

Thanks everyone! I just ask because me and my partner have decided to try again after having a miscarriage last year, however my partner works away so we don't get as much time to you know... and in my last pregnancy I conceived on day 11 of my cycle. I'm not tracking ovulation as we decided to just see what happens but my cycles are usually 32/33 days long.

It's possible, but you'd probably have to have a shorter cycle than 32 days. I conceived about 2 days after end of period (according to dating scan anyway) but I have short, irregular cycles.

It’s definitely possible. According to my dating I conceived on day 7 although my clear blue app said peak fertility day 10-11. Neither of these can tell us exactly which day we conceived because they’re not 100% accurate x

(And we didn’t actually DTD until day 8!)

Yes this happened to me. I was actually still bleeding but very lightly. It was a huge shock

Livingmagicallyagain · 24/02/2021 13:46

Very possible! I know a few (including a baby concieved during period). It's a myth everyone ovulate on day 14. I ovulate, for example, on day 11 with a 16 day LP. I have fallen pregnant first try with each of my DC.

If you happen to be someone who bleeds for 5 or so days and ovulate early, very possible!
