Yellow discharge early pregnancy?

I’m 6+3 and getting yellow discharge which is creamy and not lumpy, and doesn’t smell. Sometimes it goes back to clear/white but the yellow is still happening. It’s been there for about 5 days I think. I’ve read things on google that say it’s normal, and other things that say it’s not.

I’m a bit worried that it’s a precursor to brown and then red as that’s how my mc started. Thus discharge doesn’t have any brown in it currently but I’m scared it’s going to turn brown.

If you could let me know if you’ve had this and if everything was fine that would be great xx

Is it drying yellow? White/clear discharge does this - Although not bright yellow! I’ve had loads of this and am 6+5 today. This is perfectly normal in pregnancy and is a sign of increased blood flow, not of an impending problem.

If the discharge is yellow as it comes out then I would say it’s worth getting investigated although very often it’s a case of it being bacterial vaginosis (Which come women are prone to when pregnant). Try not to worry - And stay away from Google! Book a reassurance scan if you think it might help - It did for me.

TMI maybe but there were times at 5/6 weeks when I had bright green alongside heavy white/yellowish! I went to the docs to check there was no bacterial vaginosis which there wasn’t and in the end just put it down to how pregnancy does weird things to you. Would strongly recommend getting checked for BV as that is linked to miscarriage however, most likely it’s nothing out of the ordinary.

It’s mostly yellow on my pants but sometimes yellow on the tissue as well. I think I will ring the gp about a swab to check it’s not an infection tomorrow.

Really worried it’s the start of a mc 😞

You can get a Caneston self swab test at home for BV. I have odd days of yellowy CM too so thought I’d check but it was clear, might be worth it to put your mind at rest

Ok so I just went to the loo and had a bit of bright Orange which kind of looked greasy? It really scared me thinking it’s because of blood but then I realised it might’ve been from my bum (I do wipe front to back) as I’ve just started taking progesterone pessaries.

I’ve just walked the dog and been to the supermarket after putting it in first thing, so I wonder if a tiny bit had leaked out as they are coated in vegetable fat according to the leaflet.

I then wiped just my vagina gently and it was creamy white mucus again so that has reassured me.

The pale yellow has been there since before I started the progesterone but seems to vary between yellow, white and clear each day.

This is such a stressful time!! 😫

@MrsB2019x ah yes I actually saw that in boots today, I might go back and buy some to put my mind at rest today. I worry that my gp will take too long! I’d have to get an appointment, then wait for the swabs, then wait for results... could take a week!
