Hi everyone.

Anyone else 37 weeks? FTM here.

I've been practicing hypnobirthing and affirmations and so far I am calm and telling myself it could be 42 weeks and baby will come when he/she is ready.

However....I can't help also being a bit excited that it could be from now to 5 weeks until we meet baby :)

Hospital bag is all done but I'm doing other baby stuff slowly as I finished work a week ago so left some stuff to set up to keep me entertained!

How are you getting on if you are close to 37 weeks? How are you keeping entertained in lockdown aside from chilling out?

@orchidsonabudget I did Bump and Baby (modern version of NCT) and I have signed up to a Blossom course this coming week actually on breastfeeding. I've heard good things! What have you done?

I’m due on 17th March too 😂❤️
Starting to really feel it now but I’ve been really well And lucky throUghout so far so cant complain. Just need to chill out on the walking- I’m probabilities doing a little too much. The blossom classes are great!! We did a couple of the free ones that have been funded by banardos, we did the breast feeding one and then my partner did the dads and birth partner class which was really cute. We paid about £20
To do the stages of labour one and it was excellent. Just spending my days now getting last bits done in the nursery, drinking raspberry tea and doing perineal massage 😂😂 which has been interesting lol. Going to start abit of colostrum expressing this week but over all feeling excited and positive for the birth :) bit overwhelmed at times with the whole pandemic thing but isn’t it lovely to have something positive to look forward to ❤️ Hope you’re all doing well!! X

@Polkadot123 the fact that you are reaching to massage is impressive hahaha

I tried in the bath recent but felt I couldn't even properly get to it!!!! Felt silly!

@Mahdia hope all goes well!! Eee you’re so close! I’ve got my 38 week on Wednesday. Currently feeling ok apart from having an absolute mareee in the house- not had hot water or heating for the last few days- getting sorted tomorrow hopefully 🙈🙈 brilliant timing eh. How’s everyone getting on? X

Hi everyone hope you're all doing well and healthy! How's everyone doing during the last weeknor so of the pregnancy?

Wondermule · 06/03/2021 23:36

I had my baby at 37 weeks! As did others that I know... it’s more common than you think... good luck ladies 🍀

serialplanner · 07/03/2021 04:37

@Wondermule congratulations!
.@Mahdia I'm 39 weeks with some indicators (discharge and lower back ache) but no signs like a mucus plug. I nearly ended up induced on 38+2 due to a ditsy doctor and a change in movements.

Now talking 42 weeks out loud to manage my expectations.

How are you doing?
