i've just found out i'm about 4 weeks pregnant with my second baby, my child has just turned 1 but for some reason even tho we have been trying (only for one month) and i'm pregnant it feels like a shock? like it's not real? i can't quite explain it!! obviously over the moon but feels different to the first time i found out with my other pregnancy, has anyone else felt like this does it feel more real as your pregnancy goes on?
TIA Smile

Just found out I'm pregnant with my second and it definitely feels different. Obviously excited but just much less mentally consuming for me than the first time, probably because I know what to expect

Currently 28 weeks with my 2nd and I still dont feel its real. Ive been feeling baby for months, buying all the essentials basically near have my hospital bags packed and its still not set in. Keep wondering when its going to hit me lol!

Oh my god absolutely the same. I wasn’t sure if it’s because there is so much going on and I’m not thinking about it as much? But this time I’m in a different house, DD is 3, it’s a very different feeling, not a bad one just so different and like you say not very real!

I'm pregnant for the second time a with a 1 year old too Smile I know what you mean though - maybe there was more anticipation with the first? You realise you managed to get pregnant and then you're blown away by how your life is going to change. This time is nice but it's not as crazy and I'm not a huge fan of pregnancy after last time so that might have made it a tiny bit less exciting because I have an idea of how the next few months are going to go Confused
