Third trimester - struggling with food

Anyone else struggling with food and eating in the third trimester? I'm 30 weeks and nothing appeals to me. The usual meals I'd eat suddenly repulse me and make me feel nauseous, especially the smell. I don't think its that I'm not hungry!

Ugh. So I'm almost 34 weeks.
Never had nausea in any of my pregnancies.
But suddenly when I hit around 30 weeks, I was constantly feeling sick when I thought about food 😂
Sat eating pizza the other day and I just couldn't eat it. Every bite I had it was just coming back up 😂

Currently sitting eating chicken and new potatoes and having to eat so slowly because it just makes me want to throw up. But also need to eat to help with the heartburn 😂

@snoopertrooper12345 this is exactly how I feel! I just made a sandwhich and managed to eat half and had to throw the rest away as the smell of the tomato in it was nauseating.

I think plain food and eating slowly as you said is going to be the only way

Whenever I have had this, bizarrely it’s actually been acid reflux and omeprazole transformed how I felt about eating (and able to deal with having eaten).

I second @BlueTimes.. GET THE OMEPRAZOLE!! I've had heartburn/indigestion since week 15, don't take it every day at 23 weeks, but I imagine you'll need to at 30!

This makes sense actually. I was managing the heartburn before 30 weeks and all of a sudden it just tripled. To the point where I've been sick several times and been like.. Well, I don't know if I had heartburn because I was about to throw up... Oooor I threw up because I had such bad heartburn 😂
