Confused with very very faint BFP’s!

Hey, I was just hoping for some opinions on what could be going on!

About 2/3 weeks ago, I had the faintest line when taking a FRER. I kept testing on & off, the lines never got any darker so thought it was a chemical waiting to happen.

I started bleeding (much lighter than normal period) for 2 days- spotting for 3. Did a test after the last day just to see, and there is still a very faint positive! Could it be that the hormones are still there? I thought they would go back to 0 by now (nearly 3 weeks of faintest tests ever & bleeding)

Dr was unhelpful as ever, asking for a urine sample telling me It was negative & to leave it there.

Any advice or experiences appreciated!!

Sorry to hear this. Has your bleeding stopped? When was the last time you did a pregnancy test? Xx

Yeah it’s all stopped now, I did one this morning (bleeding stopped yesterday)
Just feeling so deflated x

Are you viewing the tests within the time frame?

And also the hormone can stay in your system for sometimes up to 6 weeks

So you've had another faint positive this morning? I would insist on having another chat with your Gp, as sometimes hormones not going up correct can be ectopic, not saying it is!! But I would ring GP and demand blood tests to see what is happening or a referral to your EPU xxx

@SnooperTrooper12345 yes it’s all within time frame, maybe it’s them just hanging around. I assumed as it was so faint before it would hit 0 quite fast.

@2littleonesx yeah I did, it’s all too confusing! Was hoping the bleed would be a period & I could stop the nonsense😂 I’ll give them a ring tomorrow & hopefully they’ll offer me a blood test x
