Hi,

This is my first pregnancy, and I’m really worried because my symptoms have disappeared. My breasts are no longer sore, my nausea has gone, and I have my energy back. This is the second day that they have not returned. Has anyone else had this experience? Any advice/reassurance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Hi @Ivyleaf72 I am in a similar boat to you. I'm 7+6 today and I had been vomiting over the weekend and the start of this week, but now it's completely gone sometimes, or just a tiny bit of nausea at other times. I thought about phoning the early pregnancy unit, but I'm not sure. I hope everything is ok for you

Hiya, thanks for your reply. I spoke to my partners mother this morning, who said she experienced the same in her pregnancies (4) and had all the same worries! But apparently it’s fairly normal and is normally just due to hormone fluctuations. I really hope this is the case, hopefully they’ll return soon to give us some peace of mind. I feel a little bit reassured, but I’m still worrying (which I think we always will!). I hope everything goes well with your pregnancy Smile

First of all congratulations!
I always felt sick in the evening for around an hour at about 4 weeks pregnant (I didn't know I was pregnant) I had no other signs of pregnancy through out my whole pregnancy. He's 19 months old now Grin.

The sickness also stopped at 4 weeks. Nothing after that.

Thank you! That’s a relief to hear. I’ve also had the sickness only in the evening. Just hoping I’ll be able to get a scan soon. It’s lovely to hear about your son! Smile thanks for replying

Hello lovely, please don't worry. This happened to me too and I'm now nearly 38 weeks pregnant! It I'd totally normal. The only things that should cause you alarm are bleeding/abnormal cramps. It at all worried, contact your midwife. You'll find that those symptoms which have disappeared are replaced by several others as you progress through your pregnancy! Good luck with it all 😊

Symptoms come and go. Or even go and don't come back.
It doesn't mean anything unless accompanied by bleeding.
Don't worry

Needed to see this today as 7+1 and was thinking the same! Even though the first time round was pretty similar Grin

This happened to me in my first pregnancy around 7 weeks and I eventually had an early scan at 10 weeks (by which point they'd come back and gone again). Normal. Midwives very blaise, said it was very normal.

Thank you all so much for your replies, it’s really reassuring to hear. I do feel a lot better about it now Smile
