Hi everyone,
I know what I’m about to post is just one of those things and what will be will be but I am just looking for some positive stories from other ladies to keep me going.
So my history - I have a DD who is 12 years old and I have since had 6 miscarriages, predominately in the past 3 years. Due to my history I am under a private doctor and am on a massive protocol of medication. I went for a scan this morning at what should be 7+4 according to LMP. They would only do an abdominal scan due to my history. She said she could see a clear gestational sack measuring around 6 weeks but couldn’t make out much else.
I need to say I am a plus size lady and abdominal scans have barely showed things up this early in the past. I have now been referred to EPAU and have a scan on Friday which I assume they will doing transvaginally.
I guess I’m just looking for any ladies who have been in a similar situation with a positive outcome. I really feel like this is my last chance and really hope this little one makes it. Any words of advice or encouragement would be gratefully received.

Hi, I'm plus size and it isn't much reassurance but I'd definitely wait for the internal scan before worrying too much.
I had a scan at 7 weeks and they couldn't see much at all so needed to do an internal scan which showed them everything they needed and we saw a heartbeat. I was a little behind what I thought at 6+2.
If they'd have just gone off the normal scan, they wouldn't have seen the heartbeat.
They did my internal there and then though so I didn't have to wait
