Anyone had this type of bleeding and it’s not ended in miscarriage?

I’m 6 weeks pregnant and I’ve been having this spotting on and off everyday since I’ve found out I was pregnant. With my last pregnancy which I carried to term I had this bleeding/spotting. But again With my first pregnancy I had this spotting/bleeding and it ended in miscarriage.
I’ve tried ringing my gp and they said to ring the early pregnancy unit and I’ve rang them and they told me I need a referral from the go (which the gp don’t do anymore) so now I’m stuck because I don’t want to go a&e with all this going on and with a 3 year old.

I suffer badly with thrush so I thought maybe it’s a bit irritated that’s what’s causing it. But I haven’t been horrifically scratching like I was the last pregnancy.

Even though I’ve been through all this before and I know even with this red spotting (that I only get when I wipe) I’ve managed to have a successful pregnancy I still can’t help but worry or want to cry whenever I see this when I wipe.

Has anyone else experienced this?

@Cafeaulait27 that's really interesting. I'm now 6 weeks and have a scan tomorrow at the EPU since my spotting still continues, albeit very light and with days between each episode. I've been taking aspirin since I got pregnant but interesting to know about the private prescription option for progesterone.

@DappledOliveGroves maybe it’s something you could mention when you go for your scan tomorrow? It’s worth mentioning the Tommys Prism study as sometimes they don’t know about it. You could see what they say, and if not maybe consider private. I was amazed at the speed I could get an appointment and then get the prescription when I went through Nova. Xx
