Is there a chance I could be further on? Confused!!

Hi just wondering if anyone could help me.

I had a period 14th December 2020, on the 27th dec I got a faint positive test 🤔. I then had what I think is another period on 14th January 2021, done a couple of more tests all negative.

Now around 8 days ago I got another positive and again and again. Now is there a chance my period in January wasn't actually a period and I'm further on. I wasn't due my period until yesterday and I've been getting positives for 8 days, wouldnt it be to early to detect. Sorry if that sounds confusing. Im very confused myself 🤦‍♀️

Tests these days are very sensitive and can give a positive quite early.
As you had negative tests after your Jan period I would use that as lmp until you get a scan.

I got a faint positive with current almost a week before period due then strong ones when it was. My dates were put forward 4 days from lmp at my dating scan so must have ovulate that little bit earlier.

The positive in December could've been that you had an early miscarriage or chemical and there was still HCG left over. Especially as it was so close to your period date.
Can I ask why you tested if you'd just had your period?
It could also have been an evap line.

As you had a negative in January, and got a positive 8 days ago, it is possible to get positives a week before your period is due. Even though it doesn't happen a lot. It is possible, I know a few people this has happened to. So this sounds like a new pregnancy
