Really just what the caption says, is this my mucus plug/part of my mucus plug or just thick discharge? It had a few tiny blood streaks and very jelly like consistency?

It does look pluggy, its normal to loose small amounts though as it makes more. If you loose more or have pains I'd ring triage for advice just incase x

Yes i would defo seek more advice, it doesnt look like any normal discharge, as long as everything else stays normal i would ring midwife in the morning. If you get any pains or anythinf I would seek help now.

Im almost 22 weeks and have had discharge that looks a bit like this about 3 time. As a blob about size of a Malteser. I didnt have any pain so wasn't worried. But i would advise you speak to midwife if concerned

Thanks ladies, I phoned maternity assessment and she was happy for me to just keep an eye on it as no blood/pain and babies movements are normal. She said could just be a build up of discharge that looks like mucus so hopefully that’s all it is. Thanks for getting back to me xxx

Even if it is your plug or part of it, it regrows and can regrow many times
