This might be a little long (I'm a rambler) but please bear with me if you have a spare few mins as I'd really love to hear others' opinions on this. TL;DR: I ate slightly more for lunch today than usual and I have been feeling uncomfortable because of it for six hours.

I'm 25 weeks, FTM. I've lost a lot of weight so far due to nausea and strong food aversions. I also have anxiety and a vomiting phobia and coeliac disease as well so with all this I've really been struggling to eat enough. I've tried a couple of different pills for the nausea but I think it's mostly just a combo of like indigestion that I interpret as nausea along with the anxiety - so the meds don't really do much.

The last week or so my appetite has started to come back a little bit. Which is great. But today for lunch I was hungry enough that I decided I'd have two sandwiches, not just one. Gluten-free bread slices are tiny, so I had these two small sandwiches along with a handful of crisps. Almost instantly after I felt a bit sick/heartburn-y/indigestion-y (I find it difficult to differentiate) so I had a Gaviscon tablet and that helped with the heartburn and nausea but the uncomfortably full feeling stayed.

I sat up poker straight for about 20 mins to try and ease it and then I was able to sit more normally, but by this point I was getting Braxton Hicks because my general abdomen area felt so full and unhappy. It was another two hours or so before I even felt like I could get up and walk around without worrying about being sick, but my comfort level has yet to return to the level where I could eat something else and it's been 6 hours now. I couldn't eat anything for dinner and now I'm going to bed (it was a late lunch).

So I guess my question is: what on earth could be causing me to feel SO uncomfortable for so long after eating just a little too much?? Could it maybe be IBS, even though I also have a diagnosis of coeliac? I was already wondering about this due to a couple of other instances of discomfort this week. How am I supposed to gain back any of the weight I've lost when eating can cause this kind of reaction in me??

I’ve been somewhat similar recently. I’m also 25 weeks and I’ve found if I eat more than usual it just floors me. I had some cake at work for a colleagues birthday and I was dying for the rest of the day. Just completely uncomfortable all day and I hardly could eat anything for the rest of the day. I’ve just been putting it down to baby taking up more room in there!

@Nat4392 I guess for once it really isn't my own weird GI issues and is more of a common thing - I'm not sure whether or not to be comforted by that! I'll just have to be more careful about how much I have in one go I suppose, even if I do feel hungry. Thank you for replying!
