Hello šŸ‘‹
Came here to ask for any advice or just some good old fashioned sympathising with me and our bladders šŸ˜‚

I’m 23 weeks pregnant and I just constantly still need to go pee. Like I feel desperate for 2 second wee, then I need a normal pee 30 mins later and so on. Going through nights going to the loo 5/7 times in the night.

I don’t have a urine infection (checked) but I am 5ā€2 and my belly is pretty low.... having some nice kicks to the bladder to really add that cherry on top also šŸ˜‚

Any tips ? ā¤ļø
I just want some sleep šŸ˜‚

So sorry to hear this and I can empathise with you!!
I'm only 14 weeks and my lord weeing is so annoying in the night!! I try to limit my evening drinks (without dehydrating of course) which has definitely helped but that's the only thing!! Try to lean forwards when doing a wee to ensure it's all out! Hope this helps!! Xx

19+4 and have been really bad with this for the past week Sad

You have my sympathy too - the absolute longest I can also for is 90 minutes - often it's only an hour, before I wake up needing to pee. I'm nearly 19 weeks now and have been like this since BFP. Was exactly the same in my last pregnancy and it never got any better until after the birth (the only good thing about my EMCS was the catheter for 2 days afterwards - total bliss!). I am a frequent peer (every 3 hours max) even when not pregnant but this is miserable, you don't ever get into a deep sleep so always tired 😭. It doesn't help that I'm always really thirsty at night either!
Following with interest incase anyone comes along with a magic spell to make it better šŸ˜‚

I just came on here to moan about this exact same thing. 26 weeks and it's just stepped up to the point it's taking over my day! Thank god we are staying in all the time because every sip
of water I take seems to come back out 10 mins later. Also forever feel like I need a wee only for a thimble of it to come out, if any!
Also, how recently I last went seems to have no bearing on when I'll need to go again.

It's good to rant šŸ˜“šŸ˜‚

I'm 33 weeks and I never have to go to the toilet in the night! 🤣🤣 my friend who recently had a baby sounded like you, constantly up! -
Maybe I'm just not drinking enough šŸ˜³šŸ˜‚

I’ve just had my first baby and I’m afraid for me it got even worse in the third trimester šŸ™ˆ
I just tried to drink more pre-dinner then slow up after that, not much helped though sadly šŸ˜ž

SunnySideUp2020 · 12/02/2021 08:42

Same as you @JTB123
Do you think we don't drink enough?

JemimaTiggywinkle · 12/02/2021 08:47

I started getting braxton-hicks contractions around then. I couldn’t really feel them, but they make my bump feel harder and realised they make me feel like I need a sudden wee. If I wait a couple of mins for it to subside I stop needing a wee.

If I actually go for a wee when this is happening, not much comes out, so I’ll still need a proper wee a bit later... maybe this is what’s happening?

JTB123 · 12/02/2021 08:50

@SunnySideUp2020 I definitely don't feel like I drink enough water.!!!
Tea and Capri suns are my weakness right now šŸ˜‚

KylieKangaroo · 12/02/2021 08:54

I was the same at the start of this pregnancy, one time I think I went about 9 times! Third trimester is so much better for me, I'm not sure what you can do though but I hope it gets better for you! X

AegonT · 12/02/2021 09:21

I have needed to get up once in the night since the first trimester. Now I'm in the third trimester it's twice but I known it'll be hourly soon like it was in my first pregnancy! I remember being disappointed I was having to have an epidural but then when they said I'd get a catheter I was thrilled! Then after the birth I was back to my normal self who could go a few hours without peeing :)

@JTB123

My weaknesses are coke zero and orange juice. It's not great.
Let's drink water šŸ˜†
