32 weeks and a bit... first pregnancy that gets so far so very grateful for that BUT...
Bored to death. No friends or family in the country i live in.
Also none of my friends have kids and none are really aware/interested. Family is mostly dealing with their own problems so whenever they are in touch i feel like i am doing some therapist's job for everybody.
I am at home all the time for obvious reasons.
Eating all the snacks and craving all the sweets. Just to feel shit and guilty after.
Can't move much because pgp is so freakin painful, feels like i am 95 years old and 200kg.
DH is wfh so busy all day/evening.
I have exhausted every possible safe hobby i could take on.
The days are dragging... i am getting increasingly tired when i am actually sitting most of the day.

What are you doing? How are you feeling?
Do you get days like this?

OMG yes! And I am supposed to be WFH but too tired and disinterested to actually do anything. I get so excited about midwife appointments that it's getting ridiculous - actually going out of the house and speaking to another human that isn't DH is amazing! I can't tell you if time will fly but I can tell you that you're not the only one feeling like this.

Hopefully it will get better for both of us!

32+5 so can't answer that but feeling pretty bored too!

At the moment getting clothes etc washed and organised and buying what we need is the only exciting thing, have you already got stuff sorted?

SunnySideUp2020 · 09/02/2021 15:52

@BlueberryPancake21

Haha i am the same with midwife appt. How sad!!!!
I even prepare the night before (prepare what? Not sure).
But i get so excited to see someone in real life.

@howmanyroads i finished washing everything and waiting on a couple of orders to arrive but we got most things. Well i ordered online... and there is a pile of boxes.
Nothing set up though as we don't have a nursery (it s the office for now) and DH wants to set up with me when he is off work in March.

Good to know i am not alone.

You’re definitely not alone, I’m exactly the same, working from home, not going anywhere, really bored.
Forcing myself to go out for a walk once a day just to leave the house.
I’m 32 weeks too and feel like I’ve been pregnant forever because life has been so boring.

serialplanner · 09/02/2021 20:13

I feel like 32-36 weeks went quickly. Admittedly work helped with that. I was grumpy at 34 weeks (apparently common?!) But feeling better now at 36 weeks as it feels like the countdown is really on - even if it is until 42 weeks.

I try and keep myself busy. Long baths. Having "lunch" with a friend on Zoom where we actually get ready and eat together. Sounds like a lot of effort but lifts the spirits!

I’m 31+3 and demented.

I feel like the last few weeks have flown.

Houseworkavoider · 09/02/2021 20:23

It does!
At least it did when I look back on it...
