(FTP and FTM )

Been suffering with bad anxiety during my pregnancy and feel mids are getting a little fed up with me, get a lot of monitoring over bubs movement as I can't feel them sometimes hence anxiety, start of 36wks bubs went a little quieter (got checked all fine) but now 37+3 and had excessive movement till 3.30 this morning (normally no movement from 11pm till 9.30am ) asked mids for reassurance who said they don't worry about an increase but I know this is not true any change should be looked into, really getting made to feel like I'm crazy Sad and I'm unsure what to do any advice or experience ?

I've always been told to get any change in movement checked.
However, I was told my midwives that if it's an increased movement, to only worry if its continued. Not just one period of time

Any change in movement reduced or increased needs to be checked out. Please go back

I did try to get checked by local midwife hospital as I dont drive, but they just brushed it off as I'm having regular monitoring and was there yesterday so got told go main hospital if im still worried ( so apparently it means things are ok, think mids are getting fed up of me being around ) movement seems to be calmer today just shocked that they don't take increased movement seriously Sad

When your heart rate increases with your anxiety it can cause more movement in baby.
You need to learn some relaxation techniques for when it kicks in.

I'm getting help from MIND already and was using my hypnotherapy last night whilst trying to sleep when this was ongoing Sad so would not have thought my heart rate was that bad at that time Confused
