I have to go to a 2nd trimester scan for measurements. Could be chance find out the baby's gender on this scan?

Happened with anyone before? At the 12 weeks scan they couldn't measure the baby so i have to go back. I'll be 16 weeks and 5 days on the day i go. Could be a chance to find out the gender or even the sonographer sees it she won't let me know (maybe it's a rule for it?) Sorry for the silly question im just wondering if it's happened with someone before or this won't be possible or maybe it is up to the person's who do the scan..

If it's not against hospital policy and they can see clearly they'll tell you what they think.

I think it's luck of the draw with who you get. Just ask nicely and the worst they can say is no! I had to go back at 16 weeks as they couldn't measure at 12, I asked but she said no it was against policy/too early

My 12 week got delayed because I had Covid so went at 15+4 and they were able to tell me😁think it depends on the hospital.
