I had watery brown discharge last night and then I've just been to the toilet and this was on the tissue after wiping. Is this normal at 5 weeks pregnant?

Tbh it just looks like brown blood tinged mucus. Brown blood is old blood and is quite common in the early stages of pregnancy, often just implantation.
If you notice it change to red then it will need to be investigated.
Congrats and good luck.

@Chelyanne thank you for replying x every little thing that happens makes me panic as obviously being my first I don't have a clue what's normal and what isn't xx

I agree with the old blood comment. I had this around 6 weeks and was brown when wiping and was told it was left over blood from implantation bleeding.
Brown is kind of a good sign as it's old.

Good to hear! I've no more spotting now which I'm glad off so hopefully it was just old blood that's come out while things are stretching into place xx

I also had the same at about 6 weeks, it carried on for about a week. I did have an early scan as I was really worried but they said it was very very likely implantation blood. If you are really worried about it though make sure you speak to your gp or epu, don't stress yourself like I did for a week! Congratulations 🙂
