I'm gonna try to keep this as graphic free as possible for everyone 😂

I'm 38+1 weeks ( eeeek ) & ive just had the most horrendous "experience" on the toilet
I was in the bath , kept feeling sick & needing to go so I got out & hopped on the loo
I'll leave the rest to the imagination .....

Since that happened , I no longer feel sick although I feel strange - I can't really put my finger on it

Is the big clear out a sign of early labour or is it just something that happens ?
If it's a sign , is labour very near ?
Ngl I'm debating on ordering a Chinese to make myself feel better

That can happen for weeks before birth unfortunately. It's a delightful one.

I'm only 33w and have been having "big clear outs" every few days. I don't think it's a sign of imminent imminent labour.
Although I wish it was as I'm sick of being pregnant now

I think its a bit of a stretch taking this as a sign of early labour. Lol at least you no longer feel sick! Hopefully its soon for you tho, last few weeks is a long slog!

I'm 37+4 and this has been happening to me most days this week. I got excited at first thinking it was a sign but now it just seems another pregnancy thing. Just have to stick it out till the end 😬

With my third baby I woke at 330am and 'cleaned out' snd he was born by 530am. But having said that I am experiencing the most astonishing clear outs throughout my current pregnancy. Are you taking a lot of antacids? Gaviscon and others are giving me impressive reactions. It is apparently the sweetener in them.

I had a clear out after a looooong 'come on baby where the hell are you' walk on the Thursday, show on Friday, contractions Saturday, baby Sunday. I was overdue.

Grin never had one. Went into labour on my calculated due date.
