Hi all,

I was just wondering if anyone else is in the same boat as me, I’m nearly 9 weeks pregnant and all I feel at the moment is tired and headaches!
I had a scan at 7 weeks and they found baby’s heartbeat and everything was fine!
I’ve been stupid and googled things and have seen that ‘no symptoms’ or ‘lack of’ could mean my HGC levels are really low and it’s just worrying me a bit to be honest.

Anyone else had little to no symptoms and have gone on to have taken their pregnancy full term and have a healthy baby?
Thanks.

I thought I was one of the lucky ones and had no symptoms at all.....until 11 weeks then I got the complete barrage of all the sickness, all the tiredness, and the aches etc- thankfully only hung around for 4 weeks or so. But no, it's not unusual to not have symptoms just yet.

slightlybonkers · 30/01/2021 00:08

I don't think it necessarily means anything bad, you may just not react badly to the hcg. Plus fatigue & headache are probably symptoms ifykwim.

mrwalkensir · 30/01/2021 00:11

never had morning sickness - just down to hormone balance! All the best...

lisa2021 · 30/01/2021 11:07

Thank you everyone for commenting, just my head is over thinking now and wondering why I haven’t had really strong symptoms and not many of them at all.
Thank you again!

I had barely any symptoms - just sore boobs really, occasionally felt a bit tired. Nearly full term now! Hopefully you’re just one of the lucky ones - congratulations on your pregnancy x

MumToBeMaz · 30/01/2021 12:43

I could have written this post myself! I am 10 weeks today.
I had a scan at 7 weeks and saw the heartbeat but have been anxious as my symptoms seem to have eased quite a bit. We booked a private scan which was this morning and got to see the baby kicking and wavings it's arms and even heard the heartbeat instead of just seeing it.

If you have the funds, I would recommend booking a private scan for reassurance. Just to help tide you over until the 12 week scan. The relief you feel knowing that everything is still okay is definitely worth it!

Guessing you’re at home a lot at the moment? Aside from tiredness I felt symptoms really only when out and about trying to get stuff done.

summerday99 · 30/01/2021 13:37

@lisa2021 Hey and congratulations!

I saw this thread and had to jump on as i was in your shoes at 9 weeks! Im now 18 weeks and i honestly had little to no symptoms. Maybe 2 days a week/every 2 weeks Id feel exhausted but not once had sickness or food issues. I read and read these threads for advice as I couldn't believe how different everyone reacts.
Even now Im working out and pretty active, Ive been very lucky for sure ❤️

The only symptoms i had were

  • mild tiredness but didn't affect my day to day life
  • shortness of breath
  • starving which tbh isn't anything different for me 🤣

Wishing you a happy pregnancy xx

Thank you so much every one for the lovely comments back! @jamie980 @MumToBeMaz @MySocalledLoaf @summerday99 💖
Yeah honestly all i have is that I could fall asleep anywhere at the minute but that’s it, no sickness at all, little to nothing! Haha

I’m glad to know I’m not the only one! Lovely to know as well you’re full term and was exactly the same! Yeah I think I’ll book one for next week so I can put my mind at rest again and know baby is growing in there still! (Doesn’t help dealing with ocd and anxiety haha)
Yeah at home all the time! Apart from the weekly food shop can’t do anything in this lockdown :(
Yeah hopefully I’m just one of the lucky ones and just haven’t dealt with any really awful symptoms and baby is still going good in there! Finger crossed.
Thank you so much again guys x

I'm the same 10w now and at 8w all my symptoms of sickness and sore boobs just disappeared though I still feel tired x x first scan in 2 week and trying not to stress or google but let's face it it's hard not to do the googling! We're perhaps just lucky not to be in residence over the toilet 🥳 x x try not to worry unduly must say it's nice to know others are experiencing similar x x

TH22 · 30/01/2021 19:57

I had zero symptoms - like nada. I made a post if you're able to go back and find it. I was equally as concerned. I'm now 32 weeks and it's been a blessing - I've had a dream pregnancy!

rbetty · 30/01/2021 20:21

No symptoms for me either, just tiredness and headaches same as you. I've been told to count ourselves lucky as some have terrible sickness x

SlummingAngel · 30/01/2021 20:24

I honestly had no symptoms beyond a missed period and a little tired until about 25 weeks when I got the most horrendous heartburn that made me vomit. Got heartburn meds quite quickly and was fine. DS is now almost 3.

Snally82 · 31/01/2021 07:58

I’m 20 weeks now, I had no morning sickness or really any classic symptoms at that stage. My first was sore boob, and then the exhaustion hit!

lisa2021 · 31/01/2021 11:18

Thank you guys again!
I’ve booked in for a private scan on Tuesday now I should be 9 weeks and 2 days so I’m praying all is good.
Yeah I’m hoping I’ll be the same as you guys and this lack of symptoms don’t mean anything and that I’m just lucky as well haha, I shouldn’t have googled but it’s hard not to when you’re worried but I am feeling much better now after reading all of your posts too that I’m not alone here!
Thank you again again x

Just updating if anyone is here!
Had my scan this morning I am measuring 9 weeks and 2 days so on track :)
She said everything looks totally good with baby, the heartbeat is still nice and fast, head has developed and stomach wall has too! She said I don’t have anything to worry about, she looked at the neck too and said that looked good but obviously can’t tell in much detail as when I’ll have my 12 weeks but she said she’s not worried about it so I’m really happy about it, now just to wait for the 12 week scan and no doubt I’ll be worrying in between then too haha, thank you again everyone! X

lisa2021 · 02/02/2021 21:21

Thanks guys! Yeah it’s put me at ease!
Yeah exactly only 2 weeks and 5 days left now until my 12 weeks so I hope that goes fast now!

Hi, symptoms don't mean anything alone. You should feel more lucky than anything 😊
I have never had symptoms apart from tiredness with all my pregnancies
