I am 8wks pregnant. Around 2011-2012, I think I had a genital herpes outbreak, since then I've probably had one or two outbreaks both very mild symptoms. I can't remember when the last one was, years ago.

What are the chances that this will affect my pregnancy or baby now?

It didn't affect me, just make sure you tell your midwife and try not to get run down - look after yourself.

Let them know at your booking appointment or an early appointment. They will probably prescribe you antivirals from 36 weeks as a precaution.

I think the only risk is if you're having an outbreak at the time of birth, in which case you will be treated at the time.
