I just had about 2 tablespoons worth of fenugreek in a curry, I completely forgot you're not supposed to have it! Just as I was finishing my meal I remembered 🥴 will I be okay? I read online about possible miscarriage & early labour/contractions (I'm 18 weeks)

Presumably in a curry you didn’t eat the whole amount?

Teakind · 28/01/2021 20:50

I’ve never heard of this at all. I just googled it and I wouldn’t worry

I only know about it as I read previously fenugreek is good for increasing breast milk production (but shouldn't be consumed whilst pregnant) I don't know if it's a myth or something, I just completely forgot! I probably wouldn't have known about it otherwise Blush
It was about 2 tablespoons amount, it was in a vegetable curry with potato
Thank you, hopefully will be okay

Just wanted to come back and say I was completely fine after, but be cautious as I have read that it has been used to try to initiate labour (not sure how true it is!) will just avoid it to be safe x
