Hiya,

I’m 20 weeks pregnant and have gained half a stone . Does anyone mind sharing how much they have gained?

I know everyone is different and I can lose the weight when baby is here , just curious Smile

You're doing well.
I've gained more than that and I'm only 10+5wk atm. I always have s big jump early then hold steady until later in pregnancy when babies get big. I have been wondering if it could be twins again or I'm just a piggy lol

Well i've only gained 4lbs but i am overweight so I think thats good for me!

HungryHippo20 · 28/01/2021 10:59

I've put on two stone and I'm 34 weeks now

Half a stone going into the third trimester here, weird seeing your weight the highest its ever been. Baby currently about 2.2lb here but remember you've got a whole new organ, increased blood and fluid and uterus muscles plus baby!

37 weeks and 20 lbs :( not ideal but could have been worse I suppose!

Moon12345 · 28/01/2021 12:17

I’ve put on 10lb so far at 17 weeks - most of that seemed to appear between 10-15 weeks I’d say. I exercise for 3 hours a day, 5 days a week (part of my job) so just accepting my body needs that extra weight to grow my baby! Wondering whether it’ll plateau for a bit or just carry on increasing every week Smile Either way, I think it’s so important to be in awe at what your body is doing.

I'm 16 weeks and have gained about 4lbs so far. In a way I've gained more recently but as I lost a lot due to morning sickness in the early weeks it balances out to 4 over my starting weight.

That's good!! That's definitely on the lower side of weight gain

I gained 15lb with my daughter

JustAnotherUserinParadise · 28/01/2021 13:54

@mhn1 to be fair I was a little overweight so start with and the recommended amount to gain was 15-25 lbs. Was hoping to stay at the lower end! (but I have 3 weeks to go and am sitting here eating quality street so...)

I just hit 200 lbs though which feels quite momentous :S
