I have a Clear Blue - How many weeks test. But i doubt it would show on that yet. Im so confused, not sure if the 1st test was flooded as the one i did an hour later was clearly negative. The one this morning is like half a line? Which is just weird!

You say you had a very light period a few weeks back, was it around the time your period was due it was it a bit early?

I have no idea, i haven't had a period since being back on the pill, so was suprised when i had a light period x

The test you did this morning looks like it might be positive. If you can give it a couple of days you should get a clearer result if you are pregnant. I agree with a few posters who've said frer are easier to read if you're happy to spend a bit more money - when TTC (odd cycles, took 3 years meant I used a LOT of tests) I always used cheap ones and if I got a real squinter I confirmed with frer. I always found the cheap ones accurate (I must've used 50+ tests across 30+ cycles, 3 pregnancies and 2 losses) Sometimes it's useful to open up an unused one and compare to the test. You don't really think to stare at them before you've used them like you do after but some of them actually have a faint line if you really look even before you dip but it looks different to a positive result. If you don't want to spend the money on a more expensive test then the cheap tests will get easier to read as time goes on if you are PG - it just might take a few days as the HCG levels are so low at the beginning.

Thank you all for the messages, i feel sick with nerves! Don't really wanna tell the hubby till i know for definate (not sure how he will take it) the strips ive always used and have always been pretty clear! But not this time, ive got 2 children and suffered loses too. Happy to pay 4 a more expensive test if needs be.....

I think you need a better test. Are those tests "one step"? If so and bought recently, they give awful shadows and indents.

Yes they are. Ive used them before and found them okay. But taken 3 within 2 days and not been clear. Think im in deniel that i could be possibly pregnant again....!

If they were positive, would they fade? Ive looked at the ones that looked positive and one test its disappeared and on the other test you can hardly see it. If i tell the hubby he will want to see the tests....but there is a chance there will be nothing to show!

I'd tell my DH what was going on etc. And then send him out to get a test.

A line on a positive test strip usually stays put. I still have one from our 2nd born that was taken back in 2010 which is clear as day, weird I know but he followed 2 mc's so I couldn't part with it lol.

They pretty much aint there now and he will probably be like....What an earth am i looking at! Haha. I didn't really want/need to tell them if they are negative.

So i told the hubby last night, he was as shocked as i was with me being on the pill and having a light bleed. I showed him the test and he couldn't see the line! 🙈 Anyways took the Clear Blue (How many weeks) i had this morning and it was Negative! Think the other tests must have being flooded....or something!

Could still be too early to use the clear blue op, doesn't it need more pregnancy hormone. Your right though, the strip tests could just be dodgy tests... I'd test again though in a day or two just to make sure you aren't.

Im going to order some more tests and will likely test next week to double check. I did think that with the clear blue it might be too early to pick up a reading on them. So confused!

So all day today i've been spotting brown blood/discharge! So random not had anything like this whilst ive been back on the pill. Wish the tests would hurry up so i can rule it out either way!

See I think I do see a line in the second photo. But it's soooo faint I'd be worried it's an evap
