Hi I’m 13 weeks pregnant and think that the nausea and other horrible symptoms are starting to pass but I am still getting an a hey jaw, which I have has since I was 10 when pregnant when I got Covid. Is this is a Covid things or pregnancy thing? Anyone else had this? It doesn’t sound that bad but it’s miserable 😩

Thanks

Hi OP, by achey jaw do you mean the ache you get when the glands under your jaw are swollen? If so then yes - I had exact this after catching covid at 10 weeks pregnant. At 13 weeks the worst of the covid stuff had gone away but every afternoon and evening the glands under my jaw would swell up massively and it was really uncomfortable. I was also getting a lot of really bad silent reflux with it which was far worse, and I put this down to pregnancy, but when I spoke to my GP about it she said that this is a less common covid symptom too. Turns out she was right because the silent reflux and the swollen glands got better after about 2 weeks.
