Did your pregnancy tired ever get better?

16 weeks pregnant with DC2. Can't shake the tiredness and struggling to get through the days. It's starting to get me down a bit now and feeling guilty about not having the energy to give my 2 year old my full attention. I remember feeling tired in my 2st trimester in my 1st pregnancy but was feeling much better in my 2nd and was also working a full time job on my feet all day back then, which I could not do that now with how I'm feeling. I feel that lockdown and not being able to keep busy to keep my mind off it possibly isn't helping. So when did you stop feeling tired in your pregnancies? Or is it something I'll just need to put up with this time? Anything you know of that may help it?

I find unless you get really good sleep at night which is almost impossible the tiredness never goes. You just have to grab what you can.
When I was pregnant with our singletons I wasn't too bad in the 2nd trimester but I was still quite active in general. With our twins I would doze off all the time lol, it was super exhausting and I was so big that I couldn't get any good quality sleep at all in the 3rd trimester. I'm struggling with sleep now, only 10+4wk atm. I find I'm much better if I'm active but when I sit down for a bit it hits me. I also need a nanna nap after a gym session these days, I'm doing a lot less in the gym than I was before I found out too.

I’m 19+4 and the tiredness is worse than ever. I’m not sleeping well at night, most nights I can’t get to sleep before 2am. But then I end up sleeping most of the day so it’s a vicious cycle 😭

First 22 weeks with dc2 was horrible. I finally got some energy back and stopped getting ill then too.

Yes, I'm struggling at night too and keep trying to push my way through without a nap in the day in the hope I'll sleep well at night but still lay awake ages or keep waking up every couple of hours. Can't imagine what I'll be like with a toddler and a new born if I'm already feeling this tired haha

Exactly the same here. Contemplated posting the same. I’m 16+3 with my third. Feel absolutely exhausted and I’m walking through mud trying to get any task done.

I do think, like a previous poster said, sleep is imperative but I’m struggling to fall asleep before 12, waking a lot through the night then up at 7 with my 3yr old.

I can’t recall it being this bad with my first two. It actually wasn’t that bad in first trimester either. I’m also wondering if my age (38) and the current situation are not helping matters!
