Hello guys, so I tested this morning (AF 5 days late) and I think I’m seeing a line on my test ? I’m not 100% sure if it’s my brain playing tricks on me or if it is actually a faint positive but about 3h later I went to the toilet and there was brown discharge when I wiped. Is it possible I’m pregnant or is it just AF?

I could be old blood from implantation bleeding, are you having painful cramps?

Not painful ones, I had normal "period pains" that lasted for a while but my breasts are sore af, I've got insomnia, feeling a lot more hungry, nauseous and always tired. I've also had a runny nose for the past 4 days but all my tests were negative except this one where I'm seeing the faintest line possible. I can't post pictures yet as I'm a new user but my instincts tell me it's not my period. Could be wrong

Brown blood is old blood so it is possible that it's implantation. Some cramping can be present in early pregnancy but sore boobs, hunger and fatigue can be at af too. Faint positives can be early pregnancy or chemical pregnancy.
All you can do atm is wait, test again in a couple of days with 1st morning urine and hope to see stronger lines. Good luck

The fun of the waiting game. I had a chemical pregnancy in the cycle prior to this pregnancy. 2 faint positives on different days then a negative and af turned up a week late. Extremely frustrating as I'd had a mc at 9wk in July. But this one is so far so good, 10+3wk and on countdown to dating scan in 2 weeks.
