If you had implantation bleeding or blood around the time you tested positive

Can you talk me through it please?

Did you feel pregnant?
What was the blood like? Did you think it may be period?

I am 5 days late and have a test on the way. For 3 days I've had a pink tinge but nothing more.

Don't look into anything except the pregnancy test result. As all symptoms can mean something else at this point. X

For me, I had almost normal 'periods' exactly when they were due (so at 4 weeks pregnant). Normal fairly heavy flow with clots etc. for 2-3 days then it suddenly stopped (normal period length was 5-7 days but last two days were quite light).
With DC1 I just had a funny suspicion and took a test about a week later (5 weeks by then). With DC2, I 'knew' as soon as I had a short 'period'. I held off taking a test until I was about 6-7 weeks before I booked with the midwife but felt sick as a pig the morning after my bleeding stopped so that just confirmed it for me (I was very sick with DC1).

@cautiouscovidity Hey, I can seem to relate to your story and looking for some advice. I had really strong symptoms before AF was due, then it was shorter than normal, It was also 4 days late and I had 3 negative tests. But now that AF is away I still get very mild cramps and just feel funny! Very emotional and sharp pains occasionally in right side. I have been wondering if my period wasn't really my period🤔 I'm reluctant doing another test as I hate seeing another negative 😢 I have been tracking my ovulation this month and still not ov yet🤔 just very curious just now.

With my first ds I had a single spot of blood around implantation, with this pregnancy I had a small amount of thin light brown discharge around the time of implantation, both times it was a one off incident and didn't come and go.

It's worth trying another test. The first one I took (pink dye, can't remember the brand) was v faint and I was 5+ weeks pregnant at that point. So if I'd tested when my period was due (4 weeks) it probably would've been negative.

I know this is from a few months ago but any help would be great. I'm having what I though was implantation bleeding but it got more red, heavy but not has normal period. Not cramping like I normally would. I been bothered about food, had sore to touch boobs and also been so tried and feeling sick for the past week and my period was a day last so took a test last night and got a very faint positive But now I honestly don't know what to think because of the bleeding. Everything is just so confusing. I'm thinking do I test in the morning.

I had pick discharge after sex due to my cervix softening up from the pregnancy hormones, that’s how I knew I was pregnant and tested as I had that last time. Could it be that?
