So this morning got my BFP on two tests! I'm 16DPO, 2 days since AF was due. It is now almost 11am and I already feel a mixture of emotions crying, scared, overwhelmed!

According to NHS website I'm 4 weeks (that is going off the date of my last period) but officially I know I'm about 2 weeks.

What to do now? Who do I tell? When do I phone my GP?

Congratulations!! I'd say let it sink in and enjoy the moment 🥰 My GP wasn't really interested I just had to call community midwife to refer for booking appointment around 8 weeks. It was over the phone due to covid (feels like ages ago, I'm 33 + 2 now - can't believe covid has been around this long!) then I got my 12 week scan date. The first few weeks waiting on all of that are sloooooowwwwww 😆

@HungryHippo20 thank you! I do need to let it sink in. I'm worrying over work at the minute as I work in a school nursery and with all this going on I do just want to make sure I'm safe. Aargh! Covid making things so much harder!

It is a worry. I worked in hospital (not clinical but very much in contact with clinical staff daily) up until 28 weeks and I was a bit concerned but nothing that made me overly anxious. I'm now at home working and I'm wishing I could be back at work! There will be a risk assessment at your work place so try not to let the worry of that spoil your excitement of the news! How is the daddy feeling? X

He seems happy, we're both just a bit shocked as it is our first time trying properly so we just didn't expect it to happen so quickly.

Hopefully still going to work will be ok as we are following risk assessment in regards to Covid and I am just going to work and then home no places in between. My partner works from home so there's no risk his side.

Congrats ! It’s completely normal to feel a mixture of emotions

You are 4w as it’s dated from your last period, not when you conceived. Then your scan will give you a set date moving forward x
