No AF yet! No implantation bleed?

My AF is due today and not arrived yet...I'm 14DPO and feeling slightly strange, sore boobs, tender abdomen area, high body temperature and also like an acid reflux like feeling in my chest (this has happened the past three days now in the afternoon time). I've no CM whatsoever at the minute, I did at the start of the TWW but it was only a tiny amount of sticky off-white discharge (sorry TMI).

Today is Thursday, I'm going to see how tomorrow goes and test Saturday if AF has not arrived by then.

Since 1DPO I have been symptom spotting and I have read on here about an implantation bleed. I have not experienced anything that I could say was this so I'm thinking could AF still be on its way.

If anyone else has some advice or similar experience please share, thank you ☺️

Never had implantation bleeding with either of mine. It doesn’t happen in every case. Fingers crossed for you.

Implantation bleeds are pretty rare as far as I know. I didn't have any implantation bleeding and haven't heard of it outside of TTC forums. Unfortunately pregnancy symptoms are very similar to premenstrual symptoms, so your best bet is to do a test! Good luck 🤞

Also at 14 DPO, you're likely to get a positive test if you are pregnant!

@Readysetcake @sarahb083
Thank you for your replies, I wrote that post yesterday, AF still not arrived, if it does not arrive during the night I'm going to test in the morning, I will be 16DPO then x

@Grace185 amazing. Congratulations!!!

sarahb083 · 23/01/2021 09:24

Congratulations!!! I was scared and anxious for the first few days too. It's huge news! I'm now 38 weeks and can't wait to meet my baby. This forum is a great place to ask questions and get reassurance. Good luck :)

@Grace185 @sarahb083 thank you so much!!!

I have so many questions already but I need to calm down! What do I do next?!? When do I phone the doctors? Do I even phone the doctors?!? According to NHS website I am 4 weeks as that is from my last period but officially I'm 2 weeks.

Contact your GP and they'll let you know what to do. In my area, you can self-refer to the hospital, which just means that you don't need your GP to do it for you. I filled out the form on my hospital's website and they scheduled appointments for me and I received them through the post. Due to coronavirus, some appointments are over the phone at the moment.

Lots of women experience bleeding early on, so if you do, it's not necessarily a bad sign. For me the first few weeks were the scariest because I was terrified of miscarrying. Once I got to the second trimester I started to calm down (a bit..)

If your last period was four weeks ago, it means you're four weeks pregnant - it seems strange but that's how they calculate it!

@sarahb083 thank you so much for replying. I will contact my GP on Monday. It is so strange to think I am 4 weeks!x
