Hi everyone,

Here's hoping you can help me. I am now 3 days late for my period and am never irregular. In fact, my cycles are usually 25-26 days and I am now on day 29. Done several different pregnancy tests and they all keep coming back negative...I know that the amount of hormones necessary may not have been picked up yet but curious to know if I should settle for the negative or still consider a pregnancy?

I have no symptoms whatsoever of being pregnant and had the typical symptoms of coming on my period a few days ago. Even sometimes I still feel today am having cramps but not sure if it's my own mind making me thing I am now. SO & I performed the pull-out but has never given us any worries although I know it's not the most secured method either but essentially weren't trying to conceive.

Here's hoping you can enlighten me with your experiences :)

Thanks!

Testing negative after your period is due (considering regular cycles) makes you far more likely to not be pregnant. I think 95% of negative tests on the day period is due are accurate. If you were pregnant, getting a very late positive would correspond to an increased risk of miscarriage. Chances are you are just having a random cycle. But for peace of mind you can retest in a few days. It sounds like there is a very tiny chance of you being pregnant.
