Long nosebleeds and Aspirin

Hi all,

I’m 22+6 weeks pregnant and have been taking 150mg aspirin due to being a FTM with family history of pre-eclampsia. The past few weeks I’ve had twice weekly nose bleeds from 30mins to an hour and a half. The latest one being an hour and a half I ended up going to A&E who have referred me for an ENT appointment tomorrow. I have midwifery led care and the midwife has spoken to one of the consultants who has now recommended I stopped taking the aspirin with the aim of reducing the length/frequency of the nosebleeds.

I’ve agreed to stopping it and will see what the ENT finds as I obviously don’t want to endure long unmanageable nosebleeds but I’m mindful that I don’t want to increase my risk of pre-eclampsia.
I was wondering has anyone had any experience of this or stopping aspirin when you have previously been advised to take it during pregnancy?
