Bleeding and no definite heartbeat

I am about 6w3d pregnant and I had some vaginal bleeding a few days ago, I went for a scan and the midwife said she could see 2 sacs but only a slight flicker in 1 of them that MIGHT be a heartbeat... I've got another scan in a few days to see if we can get more answers but not knowing what's happening is so worrying. Has anyone had a similar experience to this?

It's either a little early or you could have a vanishing twin. I've know people who have lost one but gone on to have 1 healthy baby from pregnancies like this. Only time will tell but I wish you the best of luck.

I was in this situation, after a big red heavy bleed. Now 28 weeks pregnant, one baby so looks like the second sac failed before 5 weeks. Took two weeks and a few inconclusive scans to show this baby was OK. All perfect now!

It'll be a tough week or two but you can get through it.
