I need some help! I've been reading horror stories of how long it can take to get pregnant after the depo shot and was hoping to get pregnant soon after the depo but it now doesn't seem that way, how long did it take for u to get pregnant after the depo shot

I came off the depo and onto the pill for 6 months as I knew it would take a while to get out of my system. Then got pregnant 6 months off the pill, so 1 year after depo Smile

I came off the depo shot in Sept 2019, periods returned quickly after about 2 months but were lighter/shorter than I remembered. Almost exactly a 1 year later I fell pregnant but suffered an early loss at ) weeks.

Fast forward another 3 months and I’m now at 7 weeks pregnant. Everything crossed this one will be ok.

I have read that age can be a factor though, I will be 35 next month.

Took me about 11 months from coming off the depo... although i was on I for about 7 years and it took a good 6/7 months for my periods to come back.

I came off the depo and started on the progesterone-only pill when we thought we might want to ttc soon. About 18 months later stopped the pill and got pregnant first month of trying.

I was on it twice, both times for a year and went off it to ttc. First time took a year of trying, second time was 9 months.

2 years for me

I had 3 children in 5 years, and I was on depo before I had them and went back on it in between all of them.

DS1 - 7 weeks
DS2 - 16 months, but I was breastfeeding for 12 months of that which might have had something to do with it.
DS3 - 5 months.
