Yes I am well aware of the pandemic. I also am planning longer term ie summer time. Obviously everything can change but I live a shortish flight 2.5 hr away from country I grew up in. I have 2ds and obviously they miss their grandparents a lot and we only go once a year.

So what would be your cut off week if pregnant for a 2.5 hour flight (to avoid drip feeding I had covid at start of December and likely caught it from my children who were isolating already- so I have some immunity probably for 5 or so months. )

As long as pregnancy straightforward and the country you are travelling to has good maternity care then about 34 weeks. Also need excellent insurance that will cover both you and baby in the event of a premature birth. And be happy with the idea of delivering abroad.

Just to answer the question of how late I would travel short haul. Probably about 32/34 weeks if I had a straight forward pregnancy.

Most airlines have policies which state the latest they will allow you to travel without special permission (docs notes etc).
36 weeks is typical cut off point, seems reasonable if you've had an issue free pregnancy. I would aim to be home no later than that 36th week to prep for birth.

As long as the flight company allowed, which easyJet is 34 weeks. I was due to fly at 34 weeks but my flight has just been cancelled Sad
