One flash of light...should I call midwife?

Hi there feel a hit stupid but the other day I saw one flash of light in the middle.of the day inside...at the time I thought was that lightning...or maybe a power surge in the electrics?! Now I have just read.about vision changes and pre-eclampsia and I understand it could be pregnancy related. I think it was about a week ago and I've had a midwife appointment since then which included a urine test...should I still call the midwife or just monitor in case it happens again? Would anything serious be much more noticeable that one flash? Or maybe it was daytime lighting?!?! Thanks for any thoughts xx

@Dorset555
So you only had one light flash and no others?! That happens to non pregnancy too! Your eyes can play tricks with the light.
If it reoccurs, gets worse etc then I'd speak to midwife, but not just for one flash!

I had preeclampsia, the visual disturbances happened whilst I was in hospital, what I noticed more it was as if I had a load of flies and midgies flying around my face, I was trying to swot them away.
If you have had a urine sample since this, I would have thought it would have shown up. Maybe call your mw and see what she says.

Was your bp the same as usual at the appointment? I would ring for advice, might be an idea to get another check.

Thanks both yea my blood pressure was showing up fine. I don't really have a direct line to a midwife they only seem to work certain days which is a bit confusing but I could call maternity triage..I just seems like I might be making a move tain out of a one week old molehill! So confusing when you Google.stuff though as general.pregnancy ailments of tiredness/mild swelling are totally normal and also lumped together with serious stuff! Minefield!
