Anyone experiencing a CP?

I'm currently on day 2 of what I know is a CP. hoping to try again when the bleeding stops. Anyone else going through similar? I found a great thread but I was from June last year and not as active now xx

Yeah I'm exhausted, after my hospital appointment physio said to go home so I called work and told them that I will not be coming in today.

Can I jump on here? I think I may be experiencing a CP but I have no idea. I ovulate on CD14/15 and my period usually arrives day CD23. AF was two days late this month and I didn't get a bfp, but I had all the same symptoms as in my first pregnancy. I think because my cycles are so short, it's often too soon to detect a BFP before my period begins? Anyway, I'm now on CD7 and still bleeding, bright red and clotty, and I feel awful. Does this sound like a poss CP? I just wish I knew for sure!

I should say, my periods are never like this - usually only 4 days, a couple of heavy days followed by gradually easing off into spotting. Something is defo up with this one but I have no idea what it could be!

I’m prob not much help.. I had relatively light bleeding, way less than usual for AF but it was 4 days after AF was due& after bfp.
Some of the other ladies might help more... the unknown of what’s going on is the worst ❤️

@LilmissCa I'm sorry you've gone through this. Thanks so much for replying. Given that I never got a BFP it seems unlikely this would be a CP, I was just so convinced I was pregnant because I felt exactly the same as I did in my first pregnancy. And now to have this bizarre bleeding. It's probably just an unfortunate coincidence but yes, not knowing is maddening. I just want the bleeding to stop and to be able to start again.

@Mybobowler in my experience I would have known that this was not a normal AF as usually for the same reasons you're describing. I did get a BFP but I would know if I had another one without it. Yours seems very similar to what I'm experience. I wouldn't worry yourself too much as you won't know so just try again once bleeding stops xx

@Mybobowler It's hard to be sure, everyone's experience is slightly different too. The uncertainty must be difficult for you, so sorry.

@EmilyG1989 Ooh I keep going back and forth on whether to test early or not! If I have another chemical then I'd actually want to know in case there's a reason behind it. I'd also rather get a negative test and know to expect AF then not test and just wait wondering if it's going to show or not. So I might test on Sunday but if I can wait a bit longer I will. I'm not known for my patience though!! How are you?

@Fruititoots I'll be exactly the same I think! I thought no way about testing early but then I think I'd know another CP if I had one anyway. Let's just get excited for a faint positive Sunday 😁

Thanks @EmilyG1989 and @Fruititoots - I'm really sorry you've both gone through this. I'm going to try not to overthink it and just focus on the next cycle. Fingers crossed this bleeding stops soon. Over a week now, argh!

@Mybobowler oh hun, I'm a week tomorrow too! Right attitude, hopefully next time! Research shows it's highly unlikely to happen again and most go on to conceive within 3 months! Xx

That's definitely the sort of positivity I need to hear! If I'm being philosophical about it, this experience has fully convinced me that I definitely want another baby. I had last-minute nerves about ttc, but this has made me so much more focused and excited for it. Fingers crossed for you next month - good luck!

@EmilyG1989 yes, a little girl - she's just turned two. I'm feeling so rough from this bleeding that I've taken the afternoon off work - unfortunately, DD is hairing around and shouting up the stairs for me every five minutes. No rest for the wicked! How old is your little one? (I think I saw that you have another child?!)

I'm ok day 7 of bleeding now and thought I'd get a BFN, it's the darkest BFP I've had! 🙄 calling doctors tomorrow, I'm worried

Being sent for a scan just to see what's going on, waiting to hear back from the doctors when they get in touch with the hospital

Oh my goodness @EmilyG1989 what a worry! Hopefully you'll be seen quickly, this must be so stressful

@Fruititoots I tested about 6 days ago and it was very faint. Then last night I got that! 🙄 she said not to read too much into that though

Scan is Monday morning, hopefully I'll get some answers and can put it behind me soon 🤞🏼
