Bleeding after heartbeat - overwhelmed and terrified

I need some words/wisdom, anything really. I’m currently 7+4 on my 4th pregnancy after 1CP 1MC and 1 Ectopic. I am terrified - I have had spotting or bleeding for 2 weeks now, it was spotting for a week and at 6+3 a scan showed a heartbeat and it in the right place... my spotting then turned to bleeding (still light, but red and much more than spotting) on Monday, I had a scan y’day and heartbeat good/growth spot on... but today my bleeding is the worst it’s been, every time I visit the loo, red, bitty (sorry tmi). So, anyone? Blood and success, I am really losing myself here. Thanks so much in advance.

@Smudge90 sorry to hear you’re going through this. I’m 11 weeks and last week I had spotting start that had continued since. I had a scan with EPU and baby was absolutely fine and wriggling around. I had an internal examination afterwards and was found to have a polyp on my cervix, which was most likely causing the spotting. They took a swab too and today heard back from that and have bacterial vaginosis, so lots going on and all rather stressful 🤦🏻‍♀️ What I’m trying to say is there could easily be a cause for the spotting that isn’t related to the baby. Apparently both polyps and BV are common in pregnancy, so could easily be something like that. My spotting is usually red or pink, and on one occasion last week has stringy bits xx

@Smudge90 this pregnancy I had bleeding every 3 or 4 days from 3.5 weeks to 6 weeks. They would start as a small amount of fresh red blood, then turn dark red for a few hours, then taper off to brown spotting. It would clear up and a couple of days later the same again. It was extremely stressful. I had a scan at 6+3 which showed the bleeding was caused by a small haematoma above the GS. They told me it would probably reabsorb eventually and sort itself out, and I never had any further bleeding after that scan. I'm 14+3 now and there was no sign of the haematoma at my dating scan.
