5 weeks, 3rd baby, can already feel it’s there?

Hi everyone
So this probably sounds really stupid!
I’m 5 weeks pregnant today (according to date of last period) but on occasions I can already ‘feel’ that there’s something in my tummy, not like movements or anything but like if I’m sat down and leaning forward slightly.
Is this super early to be feeling??
I didn’t know if it’s just with it being my third or whether I’m being stupid? Confused

I’m also CRAZY bloated!! I’ve never been this bloated this early in my other 2 pregnancies

The only other thing I can put it down to is that I’m actually further along than I’m thinking? Confused

Anyone experienced similar?

I sort of get what you mean.

I felt a sense of ‘fullness’ last time, I do with this one too. I’m just over 5 weeks same as you.

Wonder if there is more than 1 in there!!

My first baby i felt implantation happen and just knew I was pregnant- never experienced anything like it!
An old colleague of mine told me she had just found out she was pregnant and was 4 weeks...she already had a bump and she said she knew it was twins and it was!

Moominmiss · 12/01/2021 20:09

I know the feeling you’re on about.
When I fell pregnant last year I could feel a full feeling, like I could feel my uterus. When I lay on my stomach I could feel a lump sort of tennis ball sized.

That would have been my 4th baby.

Sadly one of the first things that was an indication I had miscarried was that, that full feeling disappeared around 8 weeks.

I don’t know if I could feel things so early because it was my 4th. I can’t remember the same feeling with my previous pregnancies.

I feel "full" and my stomach has hardened significantly and I have a small bump at 8+4 and there's definitely only 1 in there.

I agree with PP who said about implantation, I got the pains and I knew I was pregnant. I literally knew, I can't explain it. Even before I got a BFP I felt it so strongly

I could have written this! I am 5 weeks too and have been saying this to my dh who thinks I am daft.

Bubbles1st · 12/01/2021 21:35

I had bfp yesterday, dates indicate I'm 5 weeks too. As soon as I got the positive result I immediately realised if felt pregnant. My belly has been aching and bloating since Sunday and as it's my first pregnancy I have no idea if how I feel is what it feels like to be pregnant or if it's psychological....
Feels too soon to be excited but It's hard when you can feel it constantly, when does it just become a normal feeling, if at all!

FTEngineerM · 12/01/2021 23:03

@Bubbles1st congratulations!

I don’t think it ever becomes normal but certainly when they’re rearranging your organs at 40+ it’s reeeeeeally boring then. Just get out Grin

Thankyou so much everyone! You’ve all stopped me feeling so crazy! 🙈😂

@CountryLady1 😂 my husband keeps saying maybe it’s twins, but he said the same with my previous 2 pregnancies and there was just the 1 for both of those

@Bubbles1st congratulations!! 😍 I had been wondering if it was psychological but now that I know others have been feeling the same I’m guessing not 😁
