Did you feel any different during TWW leading up to your BFP?

10dpo here! Not testing until at least 14dpo

Quite nervous and I’ve tried my best not to symptom spot the past 10 days and I’ve done well!

I do actually wonder though - did you have a any symptoms during TWW before a BFP? Or even just a ‘feeling’ you were?

I don’t get period symptoms really apart from being very emotional the week before and eating so much sugar it’s unhealthy! With the added spots

However I don’t really have any of those ‘symptoms’ for AF yet which is making me thing 1) I’m lucky and hopefully pregnant 2) AF will be delayed

Trying not to analyse too much but asking this just so I don’t go crazy next few days!

Did you even have a lack of certain symptoms? Or did you have full blown AF symptoms, think you were out then get a BFP?

Nope and actually the cycle I got pregnant with twins I had the least symptoms out of any cycle - i literally felt nothing 🤣

Csari · 11/01/2021 19:25

I felt very much like I was going to get my period early but otherwise no different.

physicskate · 11/01/2021 19:25

I had a weird dream where I gave birth to a boy. I wasn't pregnant in the dream or taking care of baby, literally the giving birth bit. Not a very pleasant dream.

Hadn't had a dream in months (recovering from sleep deprivation with dd). I would have been about 13dpo and we weren't ttc. I didn't really think much of it other than 'ew, weird.'

Testing positive a few days later when af hadn't arrived.

Now 28 weeks and expecting a boy.

And no, I don't knock w the lottery numbers Grin

I just 'knew' if that makes sense? I felt different and I cant exactly explain it, every niggle made it feel more real

Nam095 · 11/01/2021 19:31

Same as pp, I just felt different and couldn’t explain it. 2 days later I took a test and there it was ☺️

Sorry, no. First ‘symptom’ with both pregnancies was a positive test.

leftitlate37 · 11/01/2021 19:51

had an inkling with first pregnancy as boobs were soooo sore v quickly, and had some cramping which never had pre AF. also had some extremely weird and slightly disturbing (in a funny way!) dreams!
this time round, didnt get sore boobs but had the cramping again! no bizarre dreams either thank goodness! still dont have any symptoms either...which im hoping isnt a bad sign!
good lukc for ur BFP!

Thank you everyone

Calmed me down a bit. Battling with two things atm, the lack of period symptoms vs not having a ‘feeling’

So basically 1 minute I think I’m pregnant the next I don’t think I am!

Hopefully it is my month, despite not having the ‘feeling’!

Nope, in fact I noticed even less 'signs' than I noticed in the months I hadn't conceived. I was so sure I wasn't pregnant that I was very very close to drinking towards the end of the TWW, luckily I didn't! I got my positive at 11dpo (I think) BTW.

EreLongDoneDoDoesDid · 11/01/2021 20:38

Looking back with DD1 I had some terrible headaches. DD2 nothing out of the ordinary though.

Reeva1988 · 11/01/2021 20:50

I had sore boobs for about a week before testing ( done the test when I was 5 days late) and had period like cramps for about a week leading up to the positive test also! I was 100% convinced my period was on it’s way hence why I didn’t even think of testing until I was 5 days late . We were also just about to start ivf so I think I’d dismissed any chance of getting pregnant naturally! Smile

Wishing4ABFP · 11/01/2021 20:56

@Luckyelephant1 this is how I feel now! Just as the other 2 months I convinced myself I was exhausted and nauseous and had sore boobs

This month nothing - not sure if it’s being lucky and a BFP on the way or the fact I’ve been working on not focusing so much on TWW!

In hindsight yes but I didn’t think anything of them at the time as we were trying. Extreme fatigue. Falling asleep at 8pm and would normally go to bed between 11-12. Very bloated. Actually joked I looked 6m pregnant ! Facial breakout. Super irritable and emotional. 10x worse than normal PMT.

Once I realised I was pregnant (16dpo) I was like ‘Ohhh...!’

WalkingMeAway · 11/01/2021 21:01

Weren’t* trying

Bumble84 · 11/01/2021 21:05

I didn’t have any pregnancy symptoms but the closer it got to my period being due I didn’t get any of those crampy niggles that I normally got. I didn’t dare believe it and it wasn’t until 5 days after my period was due that I finally did a test and broke down in happy tears. I’d been ttc a while and had all but gave up and accepted IVF was going to be my only shot.

Lifeonmars12 · 11/01/2021 21:51

I had sore boobs and that was it. In fact I was so sure I wasn’t pregnant I took the test on my own whilst brushing my teeth lol. I nearly spat out the toothpaste everywhere when pregnant popped up 😂

grandmasterstitch · 11/01/2021 22:10

Yes. Both times I had a sore stomach. Not like period pain or anything just all around sore. If I pushed on it it was really tender. And both times I had a tiny spot of blood a couple of days before I was due. I assumed I was out and it was my period but then got a positive test. Never felt like that or had those symptoms before or since. I hope this is it for you OP!

MrsB2019x · 11/01/2021 22:16

Yep - usually I get sore boobs/nipples the day after ovulation but that didn’t happen so I was convinced I didn’t ovulate (wasn’t using OPK’s or temping). They didn’t start hurting until a few days before AF was due which was very strange. DH commented they looked a bit bigger too but I didn’t notice. Got my BFP a few days later ☺️
