Anyone been in this situation?
Current diagnosis is pregnancy of unknown location. Have had three ultrasounds all of which haven’t found anything.
BHCG 31/12 109, 5/1 259 7/1 330 9/1 507
All initially done by private IVF clinic but last scan and bloods under local EPU
As IVF pregnancy should be 6+5 today.No pain, moderate bleeding. Initially started as brown spotting hence early scan.The EPU are repeating HCG again on Monday as other results were private not NHS.
Anybody had any success with expectant management in a similar situation? I really want to avoid methotrexate which they said would be next step. I know not viable pregnancy but have two in freezer so trying to avoid methotrexate so can try again soon.
This is 3rd round IVF. Had a missed miscarriage in spring which was diagnosed at 12 week scan after having seen the heartbeat at 7 weeks. Failed medical management with that so ended up having ERPC.Feel like knowing my like the methotrexate won’t work anyway and end up with multiple doses or surgery anyway.
