OK ladies, I've joined today and searched the Internet for answers but still confused. I'm TTC and still 4 days before period is due so I know its early. But I've started to feel nauseous and pain in lower abdomen so I took a cheap test last night and it showed a faint line. So this morning I went out and bought clear blue digital tests. Most uncomfortable trip shopping whilst desperate for toilet but wanted to make sure I had first urine of the day. Anyway all three tests read not pregnant.
This made me think that last night must be an Evaporation line. I read that if you put water on the test then the evaporation line would disappear but a bfp would not. Well the line stayed. Could a cheaper pregnancy test be more accurate than the expensive ones? If anyone has experience with this I would love to hear from you. Thanks in advance.

Sorry but I think you might just have to wait a few days! It's absolute torture but then at least you'll know!

The digital ones are not as sensitive as most of the non-digital ones. Either but a first response 6 day early test or wait until you miss your period and try the digital again :)

Don't put water on tests.
Read the test in the time indicated, take some pics to compare later and bin! Once it's dry no point going back it's invalid.
As for the expensive test if it's clearblue digital it won't pick up very early as the hcg level is too low.
First response test are accurate though (pink dye) very early on.
