Cardiff ladies! UHW Antenatal Clinic??

Any Cardiff mums/mums to be on here that could answer an easy question for me as I can't find any info on this anywhere!

I have been to the UHW many times, but never to the Maternity/Antenatal clinic before. I usually park in the big multi storey and walk to the main hospital building which isn't that far. However, I've been told that the Mat/Ant Clinic is right at the back of the hospital/behind the main building, which is a bit of a trek to walk from the multi storey car park!

My question is, where exactly is the clinic and where is the best place to park? Do they have dedicated parking for that clinic?

Thank you all! Smile

Have circled the main car parks in red and the women's unit is the blue marker. Honestly the best place you can park is in the main car parks and just have to walk in my experience - takes about 5-10 mins but obviously would take longer the more pregnant you are. You can try parking by the houses to left of the women's unit by the park behind it but it can be hard to find a space as it is residential. There is a pull in outside the women's unit you can park for 20 mins, and most women tend to get dropped off and picked up there for appts. It's not an ideal layout :(

@novastar7603 oh thank you so much, that's really helpful! I don't mind the walk at all, but as I get bigger in a few months time I don't think I fancy it! 😂 You'd think they would provide some parking facilities a bit closer to the unit! But we can't have it all!

@pag2020 it is really annoying. Trying to plan how we are going to get in for when I'm in labour in a couple of weeks. Definitely won't want to walk from the car park so think hubby will drop me outside the unit and then park and come back but I guess they have to check whether I'm 4cm plus anyway before they let him in.
