Haven't been taking vitamins and now I'm so worried for 21 week scan

Hi everyone.
I'm 21 weeks pregnant on Friday. My scan is also on Friday and I'm so worried. I feel sick thinking about it.
I took the pregnancy care vitamins including folic acid for the first 12 weeks.
They made me feel so sick so I stopped taking them as soon as I reached 12 weeks.
Will this of damaged my baby?!
Has anyone else stopped taking them or didn't take them at all?
I'm so worried but the thought of tablets make me feel physically sick.

NHS guidance is to take folic acid up until 12 weeks of pregnancy, which you did. Back in the day, pre-natal vitamins didn't even exist anyway and people were fine! You won't have done any harm by not taking vitamins after 12 weeks. Flowers

Folic acid in first trimester. Ideally take vitamin D for the rest of the pregnancy and beyond. No other vitamins are really advised to be taken

P.s. if it was pregnacare then there's lots of threads about them causing nausea and sickness

I took folic acid on and off up to 12 weeks. I was given vitamins by the midwife but they made me feel sick. I’m now 23 weeks and baby has formed perfectly so far. I’m just making sure I’m drinking lots of OJ, milk and other things to get my vitamins up.
You’ll be fine OP don’t worry.

@dementedpixie
Ok perfect. I'll try vit D and see how I feel, Thankyou x

You should be fine so I wouldn't worry but you may want to try alternative brands and be sure to have your vitamins with food. Pregnacare gave me a lot of nausea but other brands were ok.
