11 weeks pregnant- pains!!

Hi guys,
Im 11+3 days and I have been having cramping in my stomach, a bit like stitch. And back ache also.
Is this normal? Or should I be worried.
It’s my first pregnancy and I’m terrified something will go wrong 😔 x

I'd recommend speaking to your midwife. There are all sorts of normal reasons you can feel tummy pain and back pain and it's pretty common in pregnancy. I had awful abdominal pain that felt like cramping at around that time and it turned out to be a UTI that I'd taken medication for but hadn't cleared properly. I've also had other tummy pains which MW thinks is just muscles stretching. All of them have been worrying (especially as I've had previous losses) but my baby seems to be fine at 27 weeks.

Hopefully you have your 12 week scan soon which will help give you some reassurance as well?

I agree with Pp. Speak to your midwife. It can be normal, but I also has these exact things when I had a UTI. They were my only symptoms

Yeah I have my scan in just under 2 weeks. I have had a private scan at 9 weeks and the baby’s heart beat was strong and they were wriggling around then. Just doesn’t stop u worrying does It xx
