2nd pregnancy and it’s oh so different

My LB is 9 months so pregnancy is still fairly fresh in my head. I’m currently 5+1 and this pregnancy is so different. It’s like night and day.

With my LB I felt some nausea from 6-9 weeks, bit tired, but other than that I was happily painting walls (ventilated!) and carrying on my normal daily life.

With this one, I’ve been chugging gaviscon for a week (my god, the heartburn is awful), I can’t satiate my hunger (I’ve had 4 small meals and a decent lunch and will probably end up needing 2 more before bed!), nausea comes in waves and massive headache that comes and goes. And I’m a whole different world of exhausted (baby does sleep through).

Is this normal?! I assumed they wouldn’t be identical but I also assumed they’d be comparable. I have no idea how I’m going to handle going back to work next week.

I am on my third pregnancy. Each one was different. I had no sickness at all with my first, but had an insatiable hunger right the way though. This time, I have had horrible reflux and sickness.
