Hi all!

Can anyone recommend the best quality sleepsuits for newborns please? Ones that was well and preferably have the built in scratch mittens ?! Thank you Smile

I really love M&S and John Lewis. Mothercare used to be my favourite, sadly.

I love the M&S ones. DS has them from looooads of places, and I love a bit of Primark/George, but I really can tell the difference in quality so tend to spend that bit extra on the M&S stuff.

I loove the John Lewis and Carters ones with poppers, I hated ones with zips.

I didn’t like George and Primark as it call washed poorly and got ruined in the wash, we never had a poo stain issues and certainly never threw away stained clothes... I’m surprised to read those comments!

@rhowton I believe Boots now sell Mothercare clothes 😊 not sure if it’s the same quality or they’ve just bought the name 🤷🏻‍♀️

@grisen I was surprised to read that too 🙈 a good hand wash then through the machine seems to get rid of most poo explosion stains for us 🤷🏻‍♀️ I do have a few bits that are badly stained that I can’t get out (mainly due to DH not hand washing them right away like he’s been told 🙄🤣) but it’s only a stain, I just use them for DS at bedtime 🤷🏻‍♀️

@PinkJellycat

Would thoroughly recommend Bonds. Yes pricier but they wash well and last forever - my 12 month old DD is still wearing the ones she wore at 6 months.

YY to the H&M zippy ones too.

Definitely this. The length of time you get out of them is amazing.

My 2 year old can still fit in his size 1 (12-18 month) comfortably and was wearing them comfortably at 1. He has size 2s (18-24 month) for the last 4 months and they're also going to last forever!

Bonds are the best.

PippinStar · 04/01/2021 04:01

Another vote for Bonds wonder suits. I also have some great ones from Boots that have poppers in the normal position but also around the nappy area which makes nappy changing way easier.

Minesril · 04/01/2021 04:01

The ones with a bronze coloured popper on the right hand side so you know to stop poppering that side and to go to the other side. This is revolutionary. I think it's tesco but other shops could do them too?

Pinkychilla · 04/01/2021 06:35

I have a mix of next, boots, the supermarkets and primark but do think that next is better quality but more expensive. I also soak any poo stains in oxi clean in the sink prior to machine washing which gets rid of any stains

shouldistop · 04/01/2021 07:34

Next or marks and Spencer's are best I find

coffeecoffeeandmorecoffee · 04/01/2021 07:48

M&S and h&m

What do you think of the Jo Jo Maman Bebe the zip ones?

Also do you recommend footless or not?
