Second pregnancy and breast pain

Hi all,

I recently found out that I'm pregnant after two miscarriages last year. I'm between three and four weeks, so very very early.

I haven't got any symptoms at all though, whereas with my son a few years ago I had intense breast pain until about 8 weeks.

Has anyone noticed a difference in breast pain between pregnancies? Is it normal to not have pain the second time round?

I think I'm just worried because the last two pregnancies ended in miscarriage and I didn't have breast pain with them either.

Thank you!

I had the easiest pregnancy ever with my DS - apart from the journey to actually get pregnant, resulting in ivf that is!! But yeah, the pregnancy itself was plain sailing right through until labour when my blood pressure shot up.

This time (8 years later), well....

  • Felt horrendous until 10 weeks (18w now). Was actually grateful for lockdown meaning all my DS's activities were cancelled so I didn't have to find energy to take him and could get home from work and rest!!
  • back ache
  • stingy breasts - more so on one side
  • round ligament pain
  • achy hips
  • heartburn starting
  • generally harder in every way imaginable.

Couldn't be more different at all!!! I was convinced it had to be a girl because it was so different, but no, a little boy is causing mischief!!!

My 3 pregnancy symptoms have all been so different.
First baby I had terrible sickness, tiredness, breast pain ect.
Second baby, not a single bit of sickness.
This baby, really sore boobs and feeling nauseous but nothing else
