Baby movements hurt 38weeks

Happy New Years everyone 🥳

I'm 38weeks and now Everytime baby moves it hurts I literally feel it in my lower stomach area more not sure if it's my pelvic area. But it's soo uncomfortable I stop in my tracks and have to breath

Very normal! Just the weight of baby I think and not a lot of space!

Sounds like the babies head is engaged 😁 one step closer to labour. At that stage I used to imagine that the babies would burst out like alien, the pain and stretching of my stomach and their scratching of their nails on my bladder. Good luck @ladybug678

Is your bump any smaller? I had thos when I had slowly lost my waters. My bump was noticeably smaller though and movements painful.

If your bump size hasn't changed I am inclined to agree with previous posters that it is nothing to worry about. That being said ring the midwife if you are concerned.

Thank you for al the replies Ive still worked up with the pains so I've decided to call the triage I will keep you guys updated x
