I've never felt so poorly in my entire life and I don't know how to cope with it 😭😭 I constantly feel sick and dizzy, I can barley sleep and I can't eat anything normal 😭😭 Just been to a walk in centre to check my blood pressure (which is fine) but I have a really bad water infection on top of everything else 😭😭 I just feel like crying but I've already spent hours doing that today 😭😭

It's awful isn't it! How far along are.you? You can get medication for nausea from GP, might be worth looking into. No point suffering if you can get help

It's the worst isn't it , I just feel so awful , being sick so much but the nausea is the worst feeling , heartburn , can't sleep from feeling so awful, there is no relief.

How pregnant are you?

lillg · 31/12/2020 16:39

It's horrible. I know exactly how you feel as I felt the same, and it seems never ending. I can absolutely say though that once the antibiotics get on top of the infection it's a lot more manageable.
I was never sure if it was pregnancy making ill or the infection. But I always felt so much better after getting the infection treated. Make sure you keep getting tested if you still feel ill thought - I had multiple infections.

Oh I’m so sorry, I don’t know if it’s any consolation but you’re not alone! No water infection- must be horrible- but sickness, constipation, exhaustion, sore boobs, back ache, migraines.

Do tell your dr how you’re feeling- I’ve been given antiemetics to stop the vomiting- it makes me drowsy but given real respite.

Apparently it gets better at 12 weeks, something to look forward to.

Take care and feel better!

Sorry you're feeling that way!
A water infection will add to it all and hopefully antibiotics will kick in soon!

I'm in the exact same boat. 8 weeks tomorrow and I have practically spent the last week in bed. Iv got so upset not having the energy to play with my 2 year old iv just cried all morning.
Hopefully this will wear off soon and we can start to enjoy our pregnancies

Me too!! I’m 28 weeks and having a terribly nauseous day. I’m still being sick once a week but has definitely died down (first trimester I was being sick 3-4 times a day!!!). I just don’t know if it’s normal to feel this terrible. I’ve spoken to my midwife and GP who just note it down ‘still nauseous’. Also suffering from low blood pressure. But neither GP or midwife seem bothered at all so I am just carrying on... really, really miserable and struggling so much Sad

Same. 26 weeks and feel shit most of the time!
I had really bad sickness which has mostly
Worn off.
Had terrible constant banging headaches for a few weeks they've mostly calmed down.
Now super tired and crazy heartburn and bunged up in my sinuses a lot. Oh and constant back pain! Oh and there was a uti and thrush!
I wonder what will be next! Can't wait to get this baby out!

Hopefully antibiotics will kick in for the water infection soon ❤️ get some sickness meds from the dr, they can really help, I am only just coming off them now.
Drink plenty of water it really helped my head (3 litres a day!) and 4head stick and patches can help too. Xx
